Cut stems: Using clean shears, trim 1–2 inches off the bottom of the stems at a 45° angle and immediately put them in fresh room-temperature water.
Keep flowers in a cool spot: The flowers should be kept in a cool area, away from direct sunlight or heaters. Nearby fruit can also cause flowers to wilt faster.
Refresh the water: Change water every 1-2 day (use room-temperature water).
Remove wilting flowers: Remove any wilted or dead flowers to prevent them from spreading mold or bacteria to the healthy flowers.
